- Natasha Scott
- Completed her A levels in Psychology, Biology and Geography in Rainham Girls 6th form and headed to the University of Kent in Canterbury to study Psychology.
- Here she gained a BSc in Psychology with a First Class honours.
- She decided to continue at Kent to complete her MSc in Cognitive Psychology and Neuropsychology where she received a Distinction, and was awarded the Hermann von Helmholtz Award after receiving the highest overall mark in the MSc Cognitive Psychology course.
- During her MSc she also received funding from the university to complete a PhD and a graduate teaching associate role where she lectures first year university students alongside doing her research and thesis.
- Her research broadly looks at decision making neuroscience. Here her research aims to understand the actions that we make within our environment and how their subsequent consequences influence the level of responsibility and control of which we have on them. Her research uses methods such as electroencephalography (EEG), and her final year of the PhD also applies her research into the complex fields of the military and police.
What an amazing journey - congratulations
